How long does a portrait take?My waiting list for commissions fluctuates throughout the year, with my busiest period being the months pre-christmas. I create each piece over a week or two, depending on the size so that I am able to take a step back from the piece and review it. If you need a portrait for a specific date, please let me know in advance so I can arrange this for you.

What makes a good photo for a commission?Getting the perfect photo is an important part in creating a great portrait, which is why I have written a guide for choosing/taking your photo here
-
How does the artwork come presented? As standard, my commissioned pieces come with a mount. Framing can be arranged, just keep in mind that this will be for an additional charge for the frame and for postage & packaging.
-
Do I need to pay a deposit?Yes, I ask for a 25% deposit before starting your commission. The final amount is paid before sending or on collection.
-
Is postage included?Postage is included for commissions over £300. For pieces less than this, there will be a charge of £9.99 for UK orders. You are very welcome to collect your piece in person from the Eye, Suffolk area. Please get in touch with me to arrange.

ReturnsUnfortunately, I am not able to offer refunds, however if there is a problem with your order, please let me know.

T+C'sThe serious stuff... I review my commission pricing annually and I, Katie Nice, reserve the right to alter my pricing at any time without prior notice. All prices shown are in £ (Great British Pound Sterling) and full T+C's can be found on Etsy for my pieces listed there. I hold no responsibility for lost or stolen packages once they have been handed over to postal services. If you have any concerns about your parcel arriving safely, please get in touch to arrange tracked postage.
